Scott’s Grotto ride

By | 14th April 2018

I think we can count this as a bit of a success!  13 people rode with us from Hatfield or Welwyn Garden City to Hertford and on to Ware, a round trip for the full ride of 26 miles.  We had the best sunny weather of the year so far, so of course our destination was a dark underground man made cave system!  Possibly the least cycling type team photo ever.  Those helmets were a good idea as low ceilings and tall people were a poor combination with sharp shells.

Serendipty (your chair’s favourite cafe in Hertford) perfectly timed their reopening in their new premises for the day, so we of course had to visit for lunch.   All in all a grand day out.
