Ride to Emily’s Tea Shop

An old favourite ride to Emily’s Tea Shop in Whitwell. We will set off from Campus West car park in WGC at 11am and cycle approximately eight miles to Whitwell for tea/coffee and cake – there is usually other food available (soup, baked potatoes etc) but they do sometimes run out. The route will be along quiet lanes and some unsurfaced bridleways, so don’t bring a thin wheeled road bike unless you are prepared to walk short sections. You can also take a look at the secret garden before we follow the same route back to Campus West.

If you are coming by car it looks like parking is £1 all day (but please check for yourself).
