Another successful ride on a lovely fine autumn day. Five of us left Welwyn Garden City on a circuitous route to Tewin taking in Welwyn Village, then up through Danesbury and Pottersheath before descending into Woolmer Green then on to Datchworth Green on bridleways and then through Burnham Green and on to Tewin.
We arrived to find the Apple Day in full swing – lots of apple-based products to try and buy, a guess the cider competition and lots of displays and activities from the Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust. After a leisurely lunch (lots of cake!) and wander round, we returned to Welwyn G.C. the more direct route through Digswell Water.
