This event has been cancelled Celebrating the WGC Centenary by riding between the two garden cities. We start with a train journey to Letchworth station (times to be confirmed), the actual ride departing at around 11:00am.  Largely following the Great North Way, we will stop for lunch in Old Stevenage and then continue on to Welwyn Garden City via Old Knebworth. Distance is approximately 17 miles.

A ride from the original Garden City in Letchworth to the upstart new one, Welwyn Garden City (WGC). To join the ride you will need to catch the train to Letchworth departing Hatfield 10:51; WGC 10:56, Wewlyn North 11:00 arriving at Letchworth at 11:20. Apologies - a combination of circumstances mean we have had to cancel this ride. We cycle east to Hertford along the Old Coach Road to see Hertford Castle and return via the Cole Green Way and national route 61 to WGC town centre. 15 miles in total with gentle hills. As this ride is mostly off road or on quiet roads, it is suitable for all ages.
